Re: Trouble defending PRO offense

Make sure to always match personnel.

2 WR = base 4-3
3 WR = Nickle
4 WR = Dime

Sometimes, in passing situations, I'll treat the tight end as a WR when determining what defensive set to use.

Also, you may want to go into the game with a "defensive" offensive game plan. I.E. Try to dominate the run game and win the time of possession battle by a wide margin.

Re: Trouble defending PRO offense

I'd play man to man for the most part and blitz frequently. Play nickel when you can but use your Right Analog Stick to focus on the run if you think they will run. A lot of the west coast schemes in the game don't work if you are in man coverage (stick, shallow cross/drive, flood, levels, etc). But always keep safeties over the top and don't play bump and run much if your secondary isn't very good
