sharing demo still work?

Does sharing the demo still unlock uniforms? I shared it with a friend of mine and it looked like it worked but when I went into the game and went to stanford, lsu, boise state etc there's nothing new, just the same defaults. What gives?

Yeah..sorry for posting this, I just had to restart the game and it worked. You can delete this thread, lol
