Remove "transfer" status from a player

I'm playing with Virginia, and Phillip Sims is listed as a transfer once you get into dynasty. I know he transferred from Alabama, but he was ruled eligible to play. Is there any way to remove the game automatically setting his status to "transfer" and not being able to play? Thanks

Re: Remove "transfer" status from a player

Do I just need to edit something insignificant to make him a "different" player?

No EA doesn't allow you to remove a transfer status of a player. There is no way to edit it either.

They should get the transfer players eligibility right then.

Re: Remove "transfer" status from a player

For anyone interested, I ended up just editing Sims to a player who I planned to redshirt, thus rendering the transfer thing insignificant. I then edited a useless player to Sims stats exactly.

Then when you get into dynasty, your depth chart is all screwed up. In order to get it right, you have to redshirt the transfer player (who will still be listed on the depth chart of the old position they were edited from, and won't be able to move from there until you redshirt him), and that will fix your depth chart.

That's not EA's fault he was on their initial roster, but hadn't recieved his hardship waiver yet from the NCAA when the game was shipped. It was only a couple of weeks after NCAA football 13 was out that Sims was granted the waiver. At that point it was well out of EA's hands.

Yeah, i guess they are only interested in providing correct updates (like unis) when you have to pay for them.
