I'd say for the two safety positions and for QBs ATH is the way to go. I mean I will usually recruit my needs by position then fill my board with athletes of a variety of sizes to get a good mix of them.

I will say at UNLV I found a 1* Scrambler QB who was a 69(+12). Only reason I even targeted a 57 overall guy was because he was from NV and happened to be just what I needed.

I don't know that they are mostly athletes. But athletes are normally underrecruited for some reason by the CPU. So they can be easier to find.

Along with 10 schools remaining you should also look at 8 schools remaining. A lot of players start with 8 schools remaining and stay there. The good ones think the big schools should be interested, but often the big schools aren't interested. If the player is interested in about five schools, they will go to 8 schools remaining even if they aren't being actively recruited by any of them.

You do have to check on those with 8 schools to see if they have scholly offers. If a big school has offered them I normally won't bother unless I'm pretty much done with recruiting and just looking to see if I can randomly land a big fish.

Which was he, a 66(+12) or a 78? If it said 66(+12) then he was a 66 (instead of the 54 he was pre-scouting) and not a 78. If he's really a 78, then he's a 78(+12).

In general if they have only one school interested and it's not you, they will most likely be a bust.

Look for the guys with at the 10 or 8 stage that have 4+ schools interested. You can see just how interested those schools are and if it's low you can easily beat them out.

I'm still having a hard time finding the quarterbacks with the big arms. Does strength have anything to do with arm strength? I'm looking for a pro type quarterback with a big arm.
