wideout in backfield?

Is there a work around for this? I notice teams going no huddle sometimes end up with a wide receiver in the backfield. Doesn't the CPU run in formation subs?

Re: wideout in backfield?

This is likely because the CPU has called a 5-wide formation and then when going no-huddle changes to a 4-wide or 3-wide formation, thus sending a WR in the backfield.

That's exactly when it happens. Nothing can be done? Aren't teams allowed to sub in the no huddle

Re: wideout in backfield?

In real life they could I suppose. You can't in the game because otherwise there would be no difference between no huddle and huddle.

You can chose your play in the no huddle. Why not subs?

That's a question only EA can answer, but I'd imagine it's so you can't easily exploit the defense. You could just call subs real quick, pick your play, sprint to the line, and snap it. Even if the D had the ability to sub, they might not have time.
