Notre Dame:
Offense: B+
Defense: A
Overall: A

We'll lose Te'o but return our top 2 defensive linemen and Shembo as well as a young secondary and bring in the nation's #1 class if Kelly stays. Offensively Golson gets another year of reps, new young, talented RBs and WRs, and our O-line should be better despite losing 2 starters.

Re: Rate Your Team 2014 Edition

WKU:

Offense: C+: RB Antonio Andrews returns next year for his senior campaign. This past year, Andrews went for 3,161 all-purpose yards(1784 rushing, 432 receiving, 234 punt returns, and 767 kick returns), which was second all-time in NCAA history behind Barry Sanders. However, QB Kawaan Jakes, a 4 year starter, is gone and so is leader "receiver" TE Jack Doyle. As of now, James Mauro, who will be a redshirt somphmore will be the starter as Bobby Petrino most likely puts in a spread system, which is way different than the west coast system that the Tops have been using under Willie Taggart.

Defense: C-: WKU's whole starting defensive line is gone including DE Quanterius Smith, who led the nation in sacks before getting hurt late in the regular season. However, soon to be NFL late round to undrafted free agent prospects, MLB Andrew Jackson and Safety Jonathan Dowling lead a secondary and linebacking core that have a lot of experience.

Special Teams: C: While their kicking game has came up a little bit from the abyss of hell late in the year, their punting with Hendrix Brakefield's great ability to get his punts inside the 20, makes the defensive's job a lot easier, and the return teams with Andrews as lead returner always gives an opportunity for a big play.

Key Players:
RB Antonio Andrews
LB Andrew Jackson
S Jonathan Dowling

Overall: C

Oklahoma.

Offense B+/A- : unproven QB, but goods WRs and an solid Oline and backfield.

Defense B: unproven but talented on the whole D.

Special teams: B+/A- : Hunnicutt will still be solid, lost tress way but have a solid juco punter coming in. Return gme should be amazing with Jalen Saunders, Sterling Shepard, Roy finch, Brennan clay returning kicks and punts.

Re: Rate Your Team 2014 Edition

Michigan
Offense- B+
Someone has to emerge as the top back, whether it's Toussaint, Rawls, or Derrick Green (it looks like he's coming to Michigan) Gardner had 18 TDs to 5 INTs with better than 60% comp in the 5 games he played at QB. He also caught 4 TDs. Gallon was huge this year, too.

Impact players- Devin Gardner- 92 OVR JR QB, Jeremy Gallon- 93 OVR SR WR

Defense- A
Jake Ryan is one of the best LB in the country, and Countess, though he missed his whole SO season (left a few plays in vs Alabama) due to injury, was a shutdown guy in his freshman year when we went 11-2. Some of the many top recruits should emerge as impact players in this young defense.
Impact players- Jake Ryan- 94 OVR JR LB

Special Teams- A+
B1G P of the year, Gibbons has somehow become a great K, and Norfleet was a great returner his freshman year.

Overall- A-

Re: Rate Your Team 2014 Edition

Penn State
Offense B- (Allen Robinson, Kyle Carter, Donovan Smith)
Defense B+ (DaQuan Jones, Malcolm Willis, Adrian Amos)

Too many key losses on the defensive side for me to give them anything higher then a B+. Two of the top linebackers (Mauti and Hodges) in the nation, as well as one of the top defensive tackles (Hill) and corners (Morris) are going to be hard to replace. Sean Stanley and Pete Massaro will also be sorely missed.

On offense, we're only losing two offensive lineman, unless any of the juniors declare for the Draft. Zordich will be a huge loss. He was the heart of the offense, as Mauti was the heart of the defense. People believe McGloin is going to be a huge loss, but in this particular system, you can probably plug in any quarterback with the big play tight ends and receiver that we have (I still personally believe Paul Jones was the better overall quarterback whenever you include athletic ability).
