I agree that gameplay should be the top priority. However after paying over $1200 for both major consoles this generation and the $60 cost of games, I want them to spend time, if not equally, at least significantly on both gameplay and graphics. Both should be high on the list of priorities. It should look and play great.

As far as defense goes, I'm with you there.

That's the reason I'm not buying 14. Doesn't matter what gameplay they add this year. The fact that it looks exactly like 13, 12 pisses me off so much.

I don't understand how nba 2k and MLB the show can have player models and graphics that look life like and make you think it could be a picture. Then ea football games player models look so out of proportion. They do not look anything like what you see on the field. Heck, look at the size of the ball. It's huge. They don't have enough respect for the gamer to even fix that.

Yeah, that is a better comparison. The 08 jerseys look like wet suits in that picture. Why didn't they compare to 07 since that was the first game on this gen? I remember the lighting on 07 was really good but the frame rate was terrible. I won't speak about the 07 game play on this gen.

In regards to the original screenshot I agree there isn't a major overall upgrade in graphics, but there is a huge difference in the minor details (ie: grass, jersey details, stadium details, etc). I know its been said 50 times already but they have been using the same hardware for all these games you can't expect major upgrades to graphics. I just hope the gameplay is MUCH better like a few others have mentioned, which by present information has the potential to be good.

IMO, NCAA '11 was the one that made the biggest graphics jump.
