I miss the 'Highlight Stick'

That video really highlights something about EA football that I hate.

The punter at the end. I know he's slow in comparison to the returner. But the way EA differentiates it is by having the slow players move their feet about 3 inches at a time. He looks like he's never walked before lol. Speed shouldn't mean joint flexibility.

Does anyone miss the quick cut trigger jukes? Those were so effective and fun to combo juke with. With todays wide open arcade/sloppy/jerky player movement I see why it was removed. I miss when the players leaned into cuts and felt like they were carrying some weight. I guess I felt like you had more control as an individual ballcarrier last gen as opposed to relying on animations. Running felt more authentic.

Yup now they are worthless for the most part an tied to a specific animation. Half the time you juke an you an the defender hit knees an both go flying to the ground....
