The read and pitch keys
Are not present on all American and Heisman difficulty. This would also explain why the blocking was so dominant as the difficulty would have to be Varsity or Freshamn.

Yea that would explain it. No way the AI would get pushed around that much on AA. Plus the red tag would bug the crap out of me if it was on AA as well. I don't want them to point it out to me. What is the point of playing the game if they did that. It would take the fun completely of the game. They should put an off and on option in the game for it.

In a way they already do. It's only shown when you're looking at the play art and you can turn off the play art.
