I don't believe so. I tried to look for it in options but I believe you can't have auto speed burst anymore because of the new stamina system but I could be wrong.

I just hold down RT pretty much all the time. I'm guessing that's not the right way to do this?

The trigger just gets your player to his top speed which will happen naturally even if you never touch the trigger. I think it's implemented perfectly and I hope they don't change a thing.

I really noticed it on one play. There was a cutback lane and I used the burst immediately after getting through. Two defenders dove at my legs and barely missed. On the replay you could see the back really accelerate. Wish I had a video....

My biggest use of it is in runs between the tackles, where you don't hold down the trigger until I see which hole is open. If you just hold the trigger the whole time, it's more or less impossible to cut across the line if your designed hole is blocked up

Every time I use him, it is. Try and outrun a defender to the corner without touching it, and you'll see
