Coaching meter safe and fired

Has the coaching meter been changed so if I were to extend my contract after having winning the NC or a major bowl game I don't start at 50% or lower when my old contract was at 90% or 100%? This was a major breaker for me.

How is that an error? You had terms with your previous contract and you got to 80-90% because you met or exceeded expectations. Now you have a new contract with new expectations. If you start falling off performance-wise you're going to be in hot water. That actually rings pretty true to real life.

I'm pretty sure if you win the NC and contract expires, you won't be anywhere near the hotseat. Just because the contract goals change doesn't mean the safe spot goes away.

Do remember that your score tied into coaching prestiege. Nothing like winning a NC, getting up to A prestiege, and then signing a new contract. It would drop you back to a C since you hadn't met goals. It is beyond dumb. New contracts don't take away from prestiege. Plus the game would offer them every 2 years.
