Look at the passing numbers from last season (in real life). Pretty much all of the elite QBs are over 60%. A lot are in the high 60's, and a few are even in the 70's.

In fact, 58 teams had a completion percentage above 60% last year. Only 23 teams had a completion percentage below 55%.

This is the reality of college football. For years, I have seen you posting about QB accuracy being a game killer for you. Do you watch college football? I personally watch at least 3 games per weekend. QB's these days can throw the football accurately. Sure, QB's throw errant passes without being pressured from time to time. But the majority of errant passes are caused by pressure. I don't know any starting QB that is given all day to throw. That won't find a target eventually. Most errant throws simply come from pressure, even if we as viewers don't realize what caused it. I guess we all have different skill levels. Because, I'm sure I will have to jack up CPU accuracy within a week of release. Just to get a competitive game out of the AI!

A.) I agree about the CPU thing you said Jah. I, as well, will have to jack up all the CPU settings to just get a challenge, unfortunately. Until they completely retool the CPU A.I. to make it smart again, heavily favored CPU sliders are almost mandatory. My complaint is aimed at USER accuracy, especially in user games in an online dynasty or ranked matches online. Every QB almost plays the same in those games.

B.) I don't think myself, or anyone in here, is saying the completion percentages in the game need to be dropped down to 30% or anything like that. The problem is, in the game, you can hit a streak perfectly 9 out of 10 times. Some of these throws aren't very easy to make in real life. Yeah, a guy you are watching at New Mexico State might go 18-25 against Cal Poly, but how many of those were short passes/screen passes and how many were intermediate/deep passes.

Excellent point JB! I've been around here for a long time lurking. I've read many of your post. I have a lot of respect for your acumen.

I think EA needs to tweak the QB accuracy slider. At 0 on CPU v CPU play, QB's are not accurate, but set at 15 they are.

I should have been more specific when I said I wasn't seeing an issue with CPU % between 50% and 60%. I've been playing as Michigan vs Braxton Miller.

Miller's real career completion percentage is 56.7%. The game has been simulating that very well for me. I need to add that I've been playing on AA.
