Auburn had over 500 yards of offense that game and Oregon wasn't far behind...

You can run up and down the field all game long but if you don't get in the end zone it doesn't amount to anything.

Especially when both were used to scoring sky high points. Everyone thought it was gonna be a shoot out

Re: Offense too overpowered?

Weird, I found it tough to score and be scored on. It took over 10 quarters for the CPU to score on me when I started playing the demo and I was only scoring a TD or two per game. They have kicked a ton of field goals though.

If I recall, each offense had more mental mistakes in the red zone than stellar defense plays. It is never a shoot out when coaches have a month to prepare, unfortunately.

You could put it both ways I guess

A defensive game because of low scoring

A offensive game in terms of yards

But I leaned towards defensive because Oregon with their high rated offense against Auburns low ranked defense you would have thought they would have scored more than twice even with a month to prepare.

Oregon actually had a top 25 rated defense I believe.

True. Regardless it was an epic game that was essentially decided by the most awkward of plays.

Back on topic, I find that linebackers only have realistic gap disciple On Heisman.
