Most realistic 40 yard dash...

Has anyone tested this with either an early release of NCAA 14 or maybe NCAA 13. Very slow, slow, normal, and fast game speed. Which of those settings give the most realistic 40 yard sprint time?

Re: Most realistic 40 yard dash...

I like normal, I just ran back a kickoff for104 yds and it took me 10 seconds. Things to note: the clock doesn't start until the player leaves the end zone, so that's a running start 100 yds. Also players test their 40's without pads, depending on pads the times can vary from .1-.3 of a second with pads on.

It feels like I'm playing a arcade game on anything higher than slow. Regardless of game speed its still gonna take the same amount of time.

Agreed.....its too arcadish and hyper on Normal or High speed, I have to play on slow.....it truly brings out all of the games animations and I would also say that it still resembles a players realistic 40 yard dash.....

Also Agreed. I have always played on slow and always wondered why people said it was arcade-ish. I always see great animations and the game feels so smooth. I play defense great and the offense feels just right to me on NCAA 14.

Re: Most realistic 40 yard dash...

what about speed thresholds? are you guys leaving them at default 50?
Personally, I like them to be between 30-40... i want fast guys to be fast, and slow guys to be slow
