NCAA Football 14 Bugs and Glitch Thread

Platform (PS3):

Whats the bug? Game freezes on start up screen. I can spam buttons and get to the Choose Favorite team, but once i do, it freezes at Press Start.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? Cant get into the game

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? First time playing the game

How often can the bug be reproduced? Every time i try to load in

Do you have video or pictures? No

Bought on eBay. Disc is in great condition. I've deleted the data and tried again. PS3 reads/plays other games fine. The game and ps3 are both up to date. Literally cannot get to the main menu.

Sounds like it may be the disc, despite it looking good. Sadly that’s a possibility with used games

I tried starting a dynasty numerous times, and after looking at that screen (no edits made) the Virginia Tech game is missing. If I do not look at that screen, the Virginia Tech game is there and Alabama only has 8 conference games scheduled.

When I try to play a dynasty game it freezes on the loading screen for certain teams. I thought it was maybe a roster problem but it does it when I start a dynasty on default rosters as well. It seems to always be the same teams.

What team is the VT game missing for? And what year? I'm assuming for Alabama since you mention them. You can edit the schedule before the season starts.

Alabama only has 8 conference games, that's not a glitch. SEC plays 8. They only have 9 if they make the title game.

True, but I've never had this problem with any other game, plus it seems to be a common issue with this game in general. But yeah I guess its the game. Wish PS4's were backwards compatible so I could try it in there just for the hell of it.

The fact that it doesn't happen with other games makes it even more likely it's the disc itself. Personally I've never had this issue.
