Need a defensive tip for 2014

So far everybody is running the quick out/curl out to the left receiver. I can't seem to find a d that helps stop this. It was a well known/used play in 2013 as well. Only thing I know to do is manually take control of the corner and that sets me up to get burned deep. Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Put one of your LBs or DEs in a purple/flat zone and watch the magic happen.

Underneath zones, especially with the corner playing the flat (Cover 2).

How can I stop the slant routes? Every slant route is money for the CPU? What is a good defensive play?

I played a guy who threw to the left WR about 40 times in my last game, I couldn't seem to jam him no matter what I did. Is that glitch from PS3 Madden 13 carried over?

Load up the box and zone it up if the jam isn't working. I think there's a "velcro" call that puts like 9 guys into zone coverage. Just look for as many coverages that you can find with a defender sitting in the "slant zone" (5-7 yards inside and 5-7 yards deep). Also, you can roll a safety down into the box as well with a variation of Robber coverage. Or ... if you're not worried about the deep pass, audible some safeties (or all of them) to help underneath.

Thanks for the tips guys. Hopefully, I'll get it figured out. Right now its money for the other team. Im not having much success with the new ball hawk. I was better controlling/user my dbs last year.
