RB's Getting Bogged Down

I have noticed this in screen plays.

Happens when playing on fast also. The user step you take after the animations play out, this seems to happen. It's most noticable on toss and hb screen though.

This is an absolute dealbreaker for me if this isn't fixed asap. Ridiculous that I may have to cut out 50% of running plays because RB's can't catch pitches/tosses/options and run properly.

You don't have to cut them out. Have you tried letting the CPU make the catch and take a step before controlling them?

Yes, it still happens. To me at least. That actually seems to make it worse because if I don't touch anything at all after the pitch, the CPU still goes through the "bogged down" animation and then there's the slight delay in the time of that animation ending and me noticing it is done and taking control.

Even if letting the CPU take the pitch/toss was the solution and I had to wait for it to go through the motion before I could touch anything, that's inappropriate for a 60 dollar video game.

This was an issue in Madden 13 too. I guess it found its way into NCAA now :

The only workaround in M13 was to let the CPU take the first couple steps after a toss. That worked everytime in M13, unless you controlled the ballcarrier too quickly.

I can't say I've tried it in NCAA14 yet though. Just got the game installed this morning.
