Teams Affected by Gray Facemasks

Maybe it's just me, but I found it pretty disrespectful for EA to have Cal on the NCAA 14 website with the facemask glitch as PLAIN AS DAY. That's embarrassing!!

Not to my knowledge. EA confirmed that they are aware of the problem and are "working on it," but no word yet.

In one of the other threads, Steve_OS said he was passing this info on to the team. I like to hope they're taking this long to make sure they get it right.

Hopefully Steve can pass along to EA that Arizona's red jerseys & all 3 pants are incorrect as well, or just the whole list of things in the Uniform thread.

Whether EA bothers to fix any of this is a whole other story within itself.

The extent of these errors is incredible. Can anyone recall if facemasks have been wrong in past games?

I mean I'm not a huge stickler on details (if stripes are wrong, conference logo slightly off, no biggie to me). But this changes the entire uniform and it's definitely weird and takes me out of the game using Nebraska. I couldn't make all these mistakes and survive at my job.

I know they have a hard job, but jeez, I'm thinking I should switch fields. I can't think of another industry that would actually get away with shipping their product with such glaring issues.

Have they gotten facemasks wrong before? Oh sure but that was mostly an issue of not adding new pieces. A glitch like this is as far as I know is unprecedented for this title, although the problem was featured prominently in the demo. The more painstaking approach would be to simply add the corrected helmets to the uniform store. The problem with that lies in EA's apparent one free DLC policy. If it were the case that the fix cost 99 cents or something, I would actually RATHER pay that than for the company to do nothing.

I'm honestly happier with EA's attention to Arizona than in years past, remember how many years it took to get the call white helmets in?
