Game Freezing

My game was running great with no freezes from release until today I tried to play a game and it would always freeze at the pregame show and say disc read error. It worked the 3rd time though and no problems since.

Downloaded from psn and game freezes mostly on kickoffs towards end of game. Very irritating. smh

Same thing happened to me last night. 38-31 game that was so fun to play. Completely froze during the post game.

It's inexcusable that 3 years straight, I've had huge problems with freezing. Almost as bad is they still don't have in-game saves.

Yep, same problem. This year's version seems significantly more glitchy and has already frozen more than NCAA 13 did on me. Very frustrating.

PS3 disc version, btw.

My issue has been on ps3, by the way. Thanks for all of the feedback. I don't understand how EA has this freezing issue year in and year out. It's getting exceedingly frustrating. Has anyone else noticed that there seem to be more glitches this year than ever before? I know there is a thread going about this but I got all of my comments kicked off....guess I'm not official enough.

I'm up to 2 freezes in almost 25 games. (Offline Dynasty, 360)

The first was in 3Q (placeholder froze in place during PAT, requiring a hard reset)

Second was at the loading screen before a game, so no lost effort on that one.

My memory of freezes go back to NCAA 2002, which was the first on PS2. So, yes, EA's history of freezing goes way back.

I was having chronic freezes on '13 (360), until I correlated that I was only having freezes on rain games. Once I began restarting games to never play in the rain, I never had a single freeze after that.
