I'll add this to the first post, thanks!

Sorry if i missed this but in the off season does every team have 10,000 points to spend or does it depend on the coach at the university?

There is a high level head coach recruiting skill that gives you more offseason points to spend, I think its like 2000 or 3000 extra if you max out the skill.

Great research. So what this is essentially saying is that recruiting is "broken" or just downright garbage for another year?

I wouldn't really call it either. If anything its too easy because of the flawed CPU recruiting logic, but by limiting yourself with house rules and stuff like that you can make it realistic if you really want to.

Well if I understood you correctly, the CPU only goes after 1 recruit full on or 3-5 at best. The user goes after 15-20 at a time spreading the points out. Doesn't this lead to the CPU not having large recruiting classes? If so, then it seems broken to me.

I do understand though how it can make recruiting easy as lots of 4-5 star players will go unrecruited allowing the user to pick em' up easily.

Any idea if this is new this year or if the same type thing occurred in 12 or 13?

As I said in the first post on one of the bullet points, the majority of the recruits that the CPU failed to assign any points to still committed to that school.

The class sizes are fine.
