Good news! Interesting that it's non-exclusive too.

If 2K decided to do another college game, we COULD see it as early as 2015. EA still has exclusive rights though through 2014 though

Non-exclusivity was already ensured 2014-onward as of last year.

Just wondering will we see all colleges in the game, James Madison, Cornel, Morgan St, Norfolk St, etc.... Don't like playing the FCS East Howlers.

So another publisher besides EA can technically jump into an agreement with CLC as well?

2K needs to shift some of their gains from basketball into college football.

They would have to do it without the NCAA marks which include the final four and tournament.

This is really the positive news I was hoping to hear after the initial firestorm. A bit more at peace now about college football on next-gen!

Given pending litigation, small market, enormous amount of money it'd take to update their decade old football engine among many other factors working against profitability...the chances 2K tries CFB are about as high as Sasquatch holding a press conference this afternoon to announce the arrival of alien life.
