Has anyone else noticed that not only do only QB's win the Heisman, but only QB's are in the top 5?

I've simmed at least a dozen seasons and I've never seen a non-QB win the Heisman.

Im not sure I can give you much insight on this topic. I will tell you that as playing with the Huskers I was able to win the Heisman with my RB Abdullah. Im not much of a sim player so I cant give you insight into what happens when you sim an entire season. I do know that J. Manziel fell out of Heisman race when I played a full season every game. I won the Heisman with my RB by a landslide.

Nope, I've won it with a HB and have seen a CPU HB win it in ~6 seasons. There are usually 1-2 HBs on the top5 at a given time w/ the rest QBs...

HB De'Anthony Thomas of Oregon won the Heisman in a season I just completed. HB Tyler Gaffney of Stanford finished 4th. The other three finalists were of course QBs.

That's the way it works in today's game.

If you look at the actual Heisman Winners, the last 11 of 12 have been quarterbacks. The only non-quarterback to win it since 2000 has been Mark Igram in 2009.

Year 1 RB Malcom Brown of Texas won the Heisman, beating Manziel, Miller and the other QBs.

In year 2, I'm seeing nothing but QBs in the top 5. Problem is they are rushing for a ton of yards and TDs so combined with their passing numbers they seem pretty deserving.

I think Braxton Miller won the first year of my dynasty but Mark Weisman (Iowa RB) won it the second year.

Believe it or not, but I had Ohio State Sophomore DE Noah Spence win the Heisman in year 2 of my Ohio State dynasty on Heisman difficulty. I play every game, 5 min quarters, and typically use a S or LB. Spence just set the NCAA record for sacks and had 4 TD's, 4 FR and 2 INT. Pretty fun to watch your DE get it done, but seeing him take the heisman blew my mind.
