Re: Draw plays not worth calling?

I was playing Oregon State as Kentucky, and Maxwell Smith my starting QB ended up going 30/35 0 picks and 3 TD's. I was picking their D apart. yet anytime I ran a draw it was being stuffed, otherwise I'd run for 3-7 yards on any other run.

I'd actually say that shotgun runs are very bad too because the runningback seems to be "stuck in the mud" when he gets the ball.

I play almost exclusively out of the shotgun and have far more success on draws than I ever do on screens.

The B-back draw out of the flexbone is pretty effective, the only downside is the way the motion works, if you are playing against a savvy opponent they will be able to see it coming. What is everyone's opinion on screen plays? You guys think they are better this year?

The draw works great when you set it up. Next to the read option it's my best running play.

I would say they are very much worth calling. I have very good success with them.

360 using varsity/heisman split slider settings.

Yeah man, get your passing attack established, spread em out and then mix in some draws. I get some huge gains on draw plays.

Yeah, I use LSU playbook, so I use a lot of pistol and shotgun, which may be the reason I have success. This is a bit off-topic, but anyone having success with options on this game? My current qb has a 93 speed with 95 acceleration but I get stuffed every time.

It does seem more difficult this year - which I think is a good thing. course it could be because I just started a dynasty w Idaho and that line makes Swiss cheese look solid.
