Off Season recruiting

Just had my first off season recruiting session and was blanked!

I only had like 4 or 5 players I gave points too. 3k plus.... lost all the battles. Anyone else struggle with that?

If you are in the lead, 5,000 points for a player should get it done (at least it always has for me). If you are trailing, better to up this to 7,500.

When I only go after 2 or 3 guys in the off season, I have always gotten them. When I try for more, I might get more or I might get none.

It's better to just focus all of your points in off season to a very limited amount than spreading out all your points because the CPU will go all in. For example I had 5 players to recruit in the off season, all 4 stars and 5 stars. I decided to put all my points into the 2 best recruits out of those 5 even though I was trailing in the battle for those 2 recruits. I ended up getting both of them and letting the other 3 go else where.

Everyone is correct. You need to focus on maybe 3 guys with all your points or else you risk losing everyone.

I have pretty good luck when up 1,000 and going 3,000 per player and worked well. It mainly depends on the teams you going against. Some go for around 2,000 and others go around 2,500, some 3,000. Just try to get the biggest lead you can before the offseason.

One thing that's helped me immensely in recruiting is scheduling earlier visits for guys you lead on. (Originally it was said u want to schedule as late as possible). offering and getting visits early you are Much more likely To get commits early and you can use their pts elsewhere.
So ideally u have most of list knocked out and you're only battling for 3 players or less. If u go into off season trying to get 4 or more players you'll likelybe disappointed.

Yup the off season is to close, you should only have a max of 3 guys to throw points at.

I dunno I have had some offseason where I landed 5 to 6 guys.
