Honestly. Leave the hot hand in for that game, then before you play your next game, practice with both QB's and see which one you feel you are most comfortable with using at the moment

Re: Pulling a struggling player...

I've noticed this a lot. It's actually discouraging bc whenever a player struggled and I pull him, the back up does exponentially better, despite usually have a 5-10 overall difference.

That's exactly what happened. Byrd came in and finished 7/10 for 250+ yards and 2 scores!

Yeah my QB can't even hit wide open receivers the last two games. He has a 99 rating with 95 throw owner and 99 accuracy. He is sometime off by 10+ feet away from where the revceiver is.

I've only had one other game in 6 seasons where a high rated QB stunk up the joint and this is the first time I pulled him!

Re: Pulling a struggling player...

shoot, i had all three of my qbs starting in my usf dynasty. i just couldnt figure out who to start, and when one would stink up the joint, the other would shine. i mean the starter was fast and accurate but couldnt throw deep, the backup, a true freshman, had similar mid 80's passing stats, but i played with a bit more swagger with him in, and the third string had a bazooka for an arm but his accuracy sucked

Re: Pulling a struggling player...

You made a great call with pulling the QB. Normally if I pull someone they stay out for the rest of the game. ESPECIALLY if they are hot.

In my experience though before I pull someone major like a QB, RB, WR, or Corner I will call a timeout. Sometimes that does the trick with getting their heads back in the game. Sometimes it doesn't... But I give them every chance before I yank them. (Or sometimes I just rage yank the whole 1st String for a series or two.)
