End of Season Poll Question

I've never seen a split vote at the end of the season in any NCAA Football VIDEO game but at the end of the 2015 season in my dynasty GT won the BCS Title game vs the only undefeated team Ohio State. GT was ranked #1 in both the Coaches and Media poll. In the Coaches Poll they had all the 1st place votes 61. But in the Media Poll they had 60 of 65 1st place votes with the other 5 going to me Texas.

Both GT and myself have 1 loss. GT won the ACC I didn't win my Conference but I did get a BCS bid and won my bowl game in somewhat dominating fashion. So being that I have 5 first place votes in the media poll does this mean I get a piece of the National Championship?

No one ever experience this or have a theory on if I should get a piece of the National Championship?

No. Only happens if one team is #1 in the AP, and another team is #1 in the coaches poll.

I've seen 1 split championship in an NCAA game ('12 or '13) but the game doesn't recognize it. It only counts the Coach's poll winner.

Also, obviously you'd need to be #1 in a poll to be a champ. Simply getting some votes doesn't mean anything.
