Can someone tell me what I am doing that is causing me to pitch the ball instantly when I make an interception? If it's a deep throw I'll usually hit L2 to strafe and then triangle to go for the pick. I was thinking maybe if I was still holding L2 after I made the pick it would trigger a pitch, but L1 is the pitch button now and I never hit that. It also happened to me when the cpu picked off a WR screen and I took control after the pick for what would have been an easy pick 6 but instead it pitched it right back to the cpu

L1 and R1 are pitches, and I'm someone who is use to holding R1 to cover the ball, so I find myself pitching the ball in times where I really don't want to.. but because of old habits, I do.

Try a different controller. Maybe you just have a button sticking a little bit. Or maybe you are getting crazy with your fingers and are hitting the pitch button without knowing it.
