Illinois fired Tim Beckman in year 3 of the dynasty. Hired Shawn Watson as their HC...and the next year, Tim Banks was fired at Illinois and the new DC....Tim Beckman. After that...for 3 straight years, Illinois was in the Big 10 Title game, winning it once.

Happened in mine too. Why is that weird? Leach did his undergrad at BYU and used BYU's old offense to develop the Air Raid. Seems like a good fit.
