No playoff patch "at this time"

I would not be at all surprised if we get DLC in the summer that added playoffs and deeper customization. Honestly, I would pay $60 for said dlc.

i would too, without even blinking an eye. in fact, i'll eventually go through and buy all the uni packs i would not have otherwise bought, and also anything else that may be distributed in the future.

Yeah I will probably do the same. I mean it could be quite some time before we get a new college football game. I dont want to miss out on anything that 14 has to offer.

Not to troll, and not to be rude, but you MUST be new here. Like come on dude "They are still committed to the franchise?" Really? You obviously have no clue how marketing works. It would be beyond foolish for them to come out and say the series is dead. I mean how much more obvious do they have to make it??? They said "NO...not now." So you think 6 months from now when everyone who worked on the game has moved on to next-gen madden or other companies they are going to say "Hey! Lets put out a playoff update for a dead game which will make us zero dollars!" Get real. /Thread

Considering the playoff logic in Madden... I really question the quality of whatever playoffs might be theoretically implemented in the future.

This is probably going to turn into what College Hoops 2K8 turned into where the community goes on for years and updates the game as much as possible.

That said - I am going to look into picking this up pre-owned simply because it is the last NCAA game we might ever see.
