Re: Anybody ever have true defensive struggle games?

I seem to get more defensive struggles this year compared to years past. I'm enjoying it!

Just played this game the other day. It was prob the best defensive struggle I've ever played against the cpu.

Re: Anybody ever have true defensive struggle games?

Just had an exciting game last night playing Florida at Mizzu using K-Weezy-8 rosters with the depth chart updated to reflect all of Florida's injuries (Driskel, Easley, Matt Jones) and Mizzu (Franklin)...got a 24 - 21 Florida win on the road having to stop Mizzu on the last drive to prevent a game-tying FG...was fun!

The majority of my games are defensive low scoring games.

Re: Anybody ever have true defensive struggle games?

I'm ranked #2 in total defense in my Gator dynasty, and #81 in total offense. Most of my games are low scoring. Someone already said it, but the best way to get this via sliders is to make rushing the ball hard, and defending the rush hard.

I agree and I have been saying it for a long time.

If the CPU can't run the ball, it won't beat you. You should have to worried about the CPU run game when calling your defensive plays, that will open up their passing game as well.

Re: Anybody ever have true defensive struggle games?

I did in my Penn State dynasty using one of Matt10's slider iterations. I beat Michigan State 10-6 in East Lansing and it didn't feel like a cheap CPU defense game. Their D was vastly better than my offense and my D was about even with their offense but their starting QB was injured. It felt pretty darn realistic.
