More Super Sim head scratching...

I am confused by those who say if you supersim, you nerf the CPU's offense. I don't see it. EVER.

Case in point:

Penn State 48 (me)
Indiana 37

Indiana had the ball for 5:49 of the game. They had 539 yards of offense, 509 passing.

They had 4 TD's. each TD drive was 3 plays or less (they had 2 90+ yard pass plays). the FG drives were 4, 3, and 6 plays respectively.

Their QB Sudfield was 11/15 509 yards, 4 TD's, 0 picks.

Replayed it, without Super Sim, but just let the CPU pick the plays and watched on the screen. Penn State won 38-13. Sudfield was 24/47 278 1 TD, 3 INT.

Time of Possession in this game was 15:42 for Indiana.

So, my question for those who say that super simming nerfs the CPU offense, is how? Every time I super sim, the CPU scores. Super sim the final 30 seconds of a half, and they get a FG. 1 minute? Usually a TD.

That's funny because I always heard the opposite. Many online dynasty sim leagues actually don't let you supersim any part of the game due to getting inflated offensive stats during supersim.

Re: More Super Sim head scratching...

True but he was asking about supersim. His results without using it show the difference as you noted.

Supersim is only useful if you hate playing defense like me (because I'm just awful).

Oh, and also if you want the CPU to miss field goals and extra points. Which is why I always use "watch play" when my team attempts either when I'm a coordinator.

Can you get blocked field goals when super simming or only watch play as HC?

Never seen an actual blocked kick. Only ever saw the words show up in the super sim menu.

Now the TOP is way off but Indiana is a no huddle offense. They are quick. (Saw them live against Michigan State, and they had a scoring drive of 2 plays, 75 yards) They can put up points and fast. But I can tell some of it is a bit off
