Re: Your best conference ideas?
ACC (added Vanderbilt and Temple)
North Carolina North Carolina State Wake Forest Duke Maryland Virginia Clemson Vanderbilt Temple B1G Michigan Michigan State Ohio State Purdue Illinois Wisconsin Northwestern Minnesota Northwestern Big 12 (Big 8 plus Iowa) Oklahoma Oklahoma State Missouri Kansas Kansas State Nebraska Iowa Iowa State Colorado SEC Kentucky Tennessee Florida Georgia Alabama Auburn LSU Ole Miss Miss State AAC (Metro) Louisville Memphis Cincinnati Virginia Tech Florida State South Carolina Tulane Southern Mississippi Georgia Tech MWC (WAC) BYU Utah San Diego State Hawaii UTEP Wyoming New Mexico Colorado State Air Force PAC 10 (PCC) UCLA USC Oregon Oregon State Washington Washington State Stanford California Idaho CUSA (SWC) Texas Texas Tech Rice Houston SMU TCU Arkansas Texas A&M Baylor MAC (Ohio/Michigan) Bowling Green State Toledo Miami (OH) Ohio Western Michigan Central Michigan Eastern Michigan Kent State Akron Sun Belt WKU Louisiana Tech Old Dominion Georgia State UAB USF South Alabama UCF Rest of them will go to Independent. Btw, Georgia Tech is one of 6 teams founded Metro even though they joined ACC 4 years later because they want all sports. |

Re: Your best conference ideas?
So, example; (D = Division; # 1&2) SEC champ moves to B1G (2 league jumps) but if it was SEC D1 vs D2 and D2 wins then SEC D2 moves to B1G D2? And SEC D1 also moves to B1G D2? And then the 3rd ranked team in SEC moves to PAC 12 D2? Then you have a domino effect of teams falling down to make room for promoted teams correct me if I'm wrong?! Because this is a sweet idea and not only are you fighting for a National title your also fighting for top dog conference. |

Re: Your best conference ideas?
I'm working on building conferences that maximize the amount of rivalry games. Here's where I am so far. Would love input.

Re: Your best conference ideas?
I've decided in year two I'm going to make a few changes. In year one I noticed Clemson and SC aren't playing and I think it is because the ACC only has 8 teams and it screwed up the schedules. So next season: American Boston College Maryland Penn State Pitt Rutgers Syracuse Temple UConn West Virginia ACC North Duke North Carolina NC State Virginia Virginia Tech Wake Forest South Clemson Florida State Georgia Tech Miami South Carolina Tulane |

Re: Your best conference ideas?
Did my conferences based mostly on geographical location. Each conference has 12 teams divided into two 6 team divisions. The 6 leftover schools make up Independents. Should make for some different results, recruiting, etc. Bowl qualifiers are determined by perceived conference quality.

Re: Your best conference ideas?
Based on rivalries and geography. Only one independent (Army) since it is a requirement. 8 out of 10 conferences have championship games.
