Re: I suffer from RDS (Restarting Dynasty Syndrome)

**I'm about to have an RDS moment, but I just had a great idea for a new dynasty!

So guys, I really like rugby. It's my sports fix when football season's over. I was thinking of creating a coach who was a former rugby player. After being inducted into the Rugby Hall of Fame he wanted to take his career to the next level, by bringing the rugby game to the US. He starts his career as an OC, trying to prove that his "rugby offense" can work in football, then becomes a HC and revolutionizes the sport of football itself.

Anyway, I wanna create a custom playbook that best resembles the game of rugby. Does anyone have ideas of what plays/formations would be good to build a "rugby offense?" I figured the Option would be the base, but I could use some help. If needed I can post some links of sample rugby highlights. It's a really cool sport.

I had it happen to me last week and started a new video dynasty with some stronger house rules. I think this one might last as I happily had a losing season in year 2.

Re: I suffer from RDS (Restarting Dynasty Syndrome)

I'm about to suffer a bout of RDS, my latest dynasty had been going well with me losing some games and things staying interesting, then I took a HC job at 1* Duke and went undefeated and won the National Championship and it felt too easy. Going to start one with Eastern Michigan and harder sliders, maybe run a new offense?

In the past I have had the dynasty where I end up changing coaching jobs what seems like very single offseason. But then I have also had the ones where I try to stick to just one team. It never fails. I get bored with it and feel like I could have picked a better route.

Currently I started a dynasty where I took over in year 2 (tried simming year 1 to be fairly close to what happened in football this year) as the OC for Kentucky. In year 2 I am dominating the SEC with Jalen Whitlow and I'll likely be in line to get a good HC job. This is what I wanted to happen...

But then I come on here and see somebody's signature where they are tracking where they have coached in their dynasty. Starting as an OC for a small program, then a big program, then a HC for a small program, then a big program. All for a couple of years. And I realize that seems way more fun than what I am currently doing. Now I'm wanting to quit my Kentucky dynasty and start doing something like that...

But then at the same time I know I'll end up getting bored and probably school hopping every year and not form any sort of longevity with any team.

Anyone else suffer from this problem? Anyone have any potential solutions? I think I need medication
I could not have said this better myself. We should start an RA (Restarters Anonymous) group. I usually want to have one team that I am trying to build up or rebuild (an Iowa, Colorado, or something like that), Florida State (the team that I first loved), and UGA (the team that I root for). The problem is I find myself spread too thin and not committed enough to complete the dynasty. Then, I try to spread it out into two different dynasties: UGA and FSU in one and then the startup program in another. As you can imagine, that never gets very far either. I also have this problem with not being able to start a dynasty until the actual college football season has started. Does anyone else have these symptoms?

I suffer from it as well. I'm torn between a 1* (Tulane or New Mexico) build up, or taking my Vols and battling thru the hellacious SEC. Damn all these choices.

I think I probably have an acute case. I hear about you guys only being able to make it through four or five seasons. Heck, I haven't even made it further than one season since NCAA Football 05! Of course, I play all the bowl games too...
