Honestly, just start reporting your dynasty on the Dynasty HQ section. It will hold you more accountable because people will want to read - and if you decide to just quit, then you lose out on some authenticity. This is why I started recording ALL my dynasties since I was flippin 14 on Maddenmania lol (I'm 28 now).

I might be interested... though I can't guarantee I'll be online everyday, etc.

RDS hits me hard.. It seems like I almost never can get through an entire season but when I do it ends up being too easy, then I change the slider set and get frustrated... Basically it ends with me quitting and restarting. Again and again...

Job upgrade restrictions:

I had to start as an OC of a low prestige school and could only upgrade to non-BCS schools a max of two stars better than my current school or BCS-AQ schools which were a max of one star better than my current school. I also made myself stay as an OC for at least 5 years total.

When I finally did become a HC I made a rule that it has to be a school at least 3 stars lower than the school where I was last an OC. The same rules for taking new jobs that I placed for a OC apply for HC with an added rule that I must spend 5 years at one school as HC before leaving.

I did have a few exceptions to these rules tho:

If one of my "dream jobs" opened up, I can leave to accept it at anytime, as long as I did not upgrade from OC to HC to do it.

Dream jobs include:
Indiana - My favorite
Wake Forest - Coaches alma mater
TCU - Idk why, I just like them.

I can also leave to be the HC at a school where I was OC previously at any time.

These would include:
North Texas
Colorado

Recruiting Restrictions

I kinda let these slide at the first two jobs, but at New Mexico State I'm imposing these restrictions:

- Can recruit any interested prospects
- Non interested prospects can only be recruited if they fit the following rules:
1) In state recruits signed can only have a rating 2-stars higher than school prestige rating (NMSU is a 1-star program, so in state kids can only be a max of 3-stars).
2) Players who are from out of state, but are from a pipeline state can have rating of one-star higher than school prestige (so 2-star max for now).
3) All non-pipeline recruits must be same rating as school's prestige or lower (1-star current max).
-Max number of prospects I can sign is # of seniors leaving +2.
Thanks I'm going to make some change with recruiting though, like if I have a team need that has no in state players at the position I can recruit someone from a surrounding state or pipeline to get that position only. Also putting in this-For recruiting I can only offer scholarships week 1 to team needs and 1 player I designate my must-get recruit. Week 2 is anyone who has an offer from another school, Week 3 anyone I trail by 500+ points and have designated max points and am still losing ground. Everyone else is week 7. This does not apply if my coach has level 2 insta-commit. For points I will give 5 points to anyone who I have a 400+ point lead, 10 for a 300, 25 for 200, 50 for 100, 100 for less then 100(extra 100 for every extra team under 100) 150 for down less then 100, 200 for down 100-199, 300 for down 200-299, 400 for down 300-449, and max points for 450+.
I think this will be fun and I'm going to start with an FCS teambuilder that replaces Hawaii. I need help deciding between App. State, Georgia Southern, or Eastern Washington. Thank you in advance.

Re: I suffer from RDS (Restarting Dynasty Syndrome)

I have the same problem! I've just been messing around with sliders and rosters so much that I keep getting a better set or a better roster and want to restart. Think I've got one that I'm gonna stick with now thought, took long enough!
