Lag in offline dynasty games?

Been noticing this while playing my Kentucky dynasty games lately.

I'd pause to take pics, but after a few pauses it would start lagging. Seems like it happens quicker if I'm online as opposed to offline.

Is there an explanation or anything that could be done about this?

I've never had this problem but I'm pretty sure that, while no one has found a direct cause, some have found that it usually happens after going into instant replay (which is what you're doing taking pics).

I'd suggest that you stop doing that and just take pics after the game has finished and see if that stops your issues.
