I've had the game since it released but I just started noticing something within the past few weeks.

On the score bug some of the team names are different then they used to; for example it says "W. Virgi" instead of WVU or "W. Virginia".

I swear it hasn't always been like that, could it have something to do with the rosters I'm using?

It's the roster you're using. It's something that someone either did themselves or it's something that happens whenever someone uses the editor.

It can be fixed.

I have the same thing and like Bob said, it's the roster you downloaded. They will get around to fixing it.
