Assuming 360 / PS3, NCAA 14 is the best out of the box with no slider tweaking. Very fun and challenging from the start.

For me, 12 and 11 are also very good and now very cheap to add to your collection. I'm going back to play some 12 and 11 now after a year of playing 14. Honestly, with those 3 games, it's a matter of pick your poison - they all have their own unique issues, some of which can be mitigated with slider settings. Depends on what issues you can live with and what you can't. NCAA 13 was a buggy mess and not worth the effort, so that's an easy one to recommend avoiding.

That would be my ranking. Something about the gameplay and player movement in 06 was so ideal and EA was never able to recreate that feeling on current the ps3/360.

I still play 09. haven't looked at 14 yet so maybe that will change.

14is easy best of all series. 04 would be my 2nd. I also love 99 and 01 ,so they would have on my top choice only if someone can fix difficult because CPU were ridiculous broken at AA/Heisman level.

I play 11 and 14 all the time. I have to say I like a lot of the small things in 14. Studio Updates, creating custom conferences, etc. Just a great game. I wish I could run a few option plays successfully.
