This is also true if you never RSed them at all.
IE, your FR QB (or even your JR QB) is 3rd on your depth chart all year long. If they never play a down all year then next season he will be a FR(RS) (or JR(RS)) instead of a SO (or SR).

This last part isn't meant to sound snotty or anything but I know that it works like this.
Whaaaatttt. I didn't know this. Thanks for letting me know

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make more players transfer away from your program and have your best Juniors (95+) actually leave early for the draft?

I am about ten years into a dynasty where I have had tons of underclassmen leave early. What I have done is I edit players height and weight right before bowl games. Example; I had a Junior Corner that was a 97ovr but only 5'9" 164lbs. I made him 5'11" 190lbs and he left. I had read a thread on here where players want leave early if they are under a certain height and weight or want get drafted at all. I got Johnny Manziel to leave early a few different times and I know he is one that always stays. I up his height two inches and weight ten pounds and he leaves by his junior season.

It's no fun if you just cut them. I want players ending up on other teams. Sometimes I'll cut a player and recreate them in recruiting so they end up on another team after "sitting out a year," but that takes too long.

What I like to do is once I have a powerhouse a few years in, I'll cut a few highly rated backups that wont get to see field....before I cut them I write down their attributes and then "transfer" them to rival teams I play by editing one of their players. It adds a little to the game having ex-players trying to beat you.

Re: Probability of transfer request?

I've done the depth chart trick in past NCAA games, I usually forget to do it now though.

In NCAA 14 so far, I've had a few players transfer for playing time, even though they are starting already. those confused me a bit.
