Can't play NCAA 14 (XBOX 360 GOD)

Did a search, but couldn't find anything to help what I'm going through.


Just tried to fire up NCAA 14 for the first time since last season...It's a 360 GOD I bought when it was on sale for $10 last year. Anyway, it's all good until the game starts after loading. There is no sound at all. I try to play the game, but after the first kick return, the game freezes.


I have tried the following to fix:
1. Deleted the GOD and re-download
2. Deleted all my saves, rosters, patch, uniform store files, basically everything having to do with NCAA 14, and re-downloaded the GOD only


3. Cleared 360 HDD cache.


Every time, it freezes just after kickoff and I can tell it's going to because there is no sound after the game loads. I've tried different teams, default settings and rosters, and everything above.


Does anyone know what to do?

Had the same issue when I was trying to import eight Teambuilder teams into my Road to Glory player. What kind of Xbox do you have? An old-style one, the newer 4GB or the newer 120GB?

I wonder if it's a hard drive issue with the Xbox.

I just started an Ultimate Team game to see if I could play that without freezing. It worked fine, so I exited out and played a regular game and it has sound and no freezing. Maybe this will help someone else in the future.
