Looking For Feedback On Schools Greatest Teams

Looking to get some feedback for a future roster project. While it is subjective a lot of college's best years are relatively easy to decide, but some of the traditional powers have had multiple championship seasons in many different decades. For the purpose of the project I am excluding teams pre-1966 and post 2006. The following is a list of schools that I would like some community feedback on and feel free to discuss and sell me on why you choose your team's year.

Michigan 1973, 1997
Ohio State 1968, 1975, 1996, 2002
Arkansas 1968, 1977
Texas 1969, 1977, 1981, 2005
Texas A&M 1976, 1985, 1994
Auburn 1972, 1983, 1993, 2004
Alabama 1966, 1979,1992
Florida 1996, 2006
Syracuse 1966, 1987, 1992
Penn State 1969, 1973, 1986, 1994

Penn State 1969, 1973, 1986, 1994
my $0.02

Michigan 1997 - shared National Champs I think? Lots of NFL talent on that team, including Tom Brady
Ohio State - 1968 (I feel 2002 they lucked into the Natty a bit; offense was OK I guess outside of Clarrett)
Texas - 2005. I think that might be enough.
A&M - '85. SWC Champs
Auburn - Not sure. Either '72 or '04. I can't remember if Heisman winner Pat Sullivan was on the '72 team.
Florida - '96. More talent on that team than '06 (Wuerffel, Hilliard, Taylor, Anthony just on offense)
Syracuse - '87. Perfect record, Don MacPherson..
Penn State - '86. IMO Paterno's best teams (outside of '99) were in the 80's.

No idea on Arkansas or 'Bama.

First of all thanks for the feedback, I agree with every one of those except maybe Penn State. I really like the 69 team with Franco and Lydell Mitchell and that 86 team was just so....Penn St. Tough defense but average offense. Pat Sullivan was on the 72 Auburn team, one loss was to LSU but beat 4 or 5 top 20 teams, but I really like that 04 team that didnt get to play for the championship. Also glad to see you gave the 68 Buckeyes some love!!!

Edit: sorry, Sullivan wasnt on the 72 auburn team

Re: Looking For Feedback On Schools Greatest Teams

Florida State - 2013. Set the NCAA record for most points scored in a single season. Averaged almost a 38 point victory over everyone they played. Heisman trophy winner at quarterback and a TON of NFL draft picks all over the place (including some that have yet to finish school). Ended the SEC's run of national championships with a comeback win over Auburn in the Rose Bowl to end the BCS era.

Whoops, didn't see that part! My bad!
Then I'd say FSU - 1993 or 1999. Charlie Ward of '93 might be the greatest athlete to play at FSU, regardless of position.
