I see a lot of bad snaps on the punts, but never on place kicks. When the punter has to jump or go off to the side to get the snap is the only time that I ever get a shot at a punt block.

I still think a snap meter for punts and kicks would be awesome. The bette rthe snapper the easier the meter. you miss it bad then bam over the head or in the dirt. WOuld add more realism to the game.

That's a kick *** idea jt. However...MAN! Can you imagine...the effort going through punting and kicking would be insane.

"Ok, snap! *frantically pushing buttons*, good snap!"

"Ok, punt *more frantically hitting buttons, making sure kick is good*"

That's like 36 pushes of the button to get a kick off.

Imagine that during a game winning FG or a crucial punt to seal a game. Talk about sweaty palms.


Oh! I forgot to add...

Another "fix"...

When you TOUCH the ball..it is DOWN at the point of contact...NOT 15 yards downfield after the touch. That is a major flaw in this year's version....a punt is DOWN after contact with a player.

^^^ actually its down if the kicking team picks it up, if you just touch it and walk away the recieving team could still return it.

you're both right. the worst field position the recieving team can get is where the kicking team first touches the ball. If they just bat the ball back, like away from the endzone, the receiving team can run it back fumble it away and still get the ball where it was first touched by the kicking team.

and if they touch the ball and it rolls to better field position for the receiving team that's where they get it.
