As the offensive coordinator at a school you are only responsible for recruiting offensive players, correct?

No, you recruit for the whole team. They didn't do a very good job of distinguishing the coordinator jobs from head coaching. It really only impacts what you control on the field.

Of course, you could just turn on recruiting assistance and let the CPU do it while you're a coordinator. Just beware the CPU isn't the greatest at recruiting.
