EA Sports rates...Tennessee??! biggest Homefield Advantage

Hmmmm....

No offense to Tennessee...they have an awesome gameday atmosphere...but I wouldn't consider it the toughest place to play...definitely top 10 though.

In fact...I'd place two other SEC schools ahead of UT in terms of hostile enviornment...The Swamp #1 of course...with Auburn and Jordan Hare a distant second to UF.

Of course...with the reemergence of LSU as a national power..."Death Valley" could start living up to it's reputation again (unless it's a day game..then the Cajuns are too sober to have "school spirit" )

I'm only going on first hand experience as I have been to Jordan Hare (many times of course), Neyland, the Swamp, etc.

I would guess that Texas A&M (12th man) and Michigan would be really high as well along with Ohio State and FSU.

....aaaaaahhhh...WHO CARES?!! CHRISTMAS IS COMING!! July 12th!! (NO delays...No delays...No delays.. )

I dunno about real life but when I play anyone at Florida State that whole war chant and the fans kinda unnerve me a bit. Being a Buckeyes fan I'd think the shoe and Michigan would be 2 of the top 5 as well. I've gone to plenty of home games at the Shoe and it's GOTTA be scary to other teams with 100,000+ fans of the Buckeyes going NUTS on every play. It's loud as heck.

Big Buckeye fan here, but I'm wondering why no one has mentioned the Orange Bowl. The Cane's are super tough at home. I've been to few games there and you can feel the stadium shaking.

FSU also. Been to Doak Campbell, it's loud and they stand up on every play.

The Swamp. 'Nuff said. I attended an FSU game here and it was nuts.

Neyland stadium is loud, once you get that 107,0437 fans in there OMG!.I'm an FSU fan,and i went to a game up there, when Peyton was playing,it was very loud. It's louder than the Swamp,OB,Doak, but Tiger stadium can come close to matching it,especially at night.

Also i think i might no where, they got there camera shaking idea from. Two years ago, when Florida played at Tennessee,it was so loud in the 4th Quarter the ESPN camera was shakin, and you could barely here the announcers, that's crazy.I guess there's a few Tennessee fans on the develop team, that's working on this game.

I take issue with Jrodan Hare.

I went to the game this year, and it was great.

But, Jrodan Hare was nothing special for quite a few years in the late 90's.

As a Tennessee fan, nothing beats LSU's for noise and fan organization. Florida is more organzied fan noise, Neyland does beat them all but only on the rare occasion when the fans decide they want to be loud.
