How is this going to work.. Fitzgerald is the cover star for NCAA 2005 but he is going to be in Madden 2005 too.. so are they going to use last years rosters or what? Will Eli be in both? I don't get it.

NCAA rules state that no current player can be on the cover. SO Fitz is on it but will only be in Madden unless they have last years PITT team as a classic team, which I highly doubt. The rosters will be this years 2 deep as of spring like they always are

Fitz is only going to be in Madden.

Every year NCAA (and all college sports games) pick a guy who went pro that year to put on the cover, don't remember last years but 2 years ago was Harrington IIRC

Last years was Carson Palmer, Harrington, Weinke, Shaun Alexander, RAicky Williams, Charles Woodson

Than sites/magazine need to watch how they advertise.. they advertise using the matchup stick to get Fitzgerald matched up against a small DB.. and look

they always do that type of thing with the cover athletes. They can put him in the screen shots and take him out before the game comes out. They do this every year.

Never really notice. Never knew about that cover rule either.. good to know. I never hyped/looked up on NCAA much before this year.
