I highly doubt it because medical redshirts have to be approved by the NCAA. So unless they can learn how to code an application process, it will not be in the game.

Medical Redshirts do have to be approved by the NCAA, and only they know what guidelines they use.

A few years ago, Tennessee had a senior linebacker named Roger Alexander who was seriously injured in a car crash in June, and missed his senior year. The NCAA denied his request for another year of eligibility. Bizarre.
