ok, guys...this is really starting to bother me

Sorry to be the one to say it but the orange bowl isn't one of the loudest, its not even in the top 30 of loudest in college football. The stadium isn't loud at all and the fans are extremely quiet. Whether winning or loosing, the always half full stadium (except when my hokies and FSU stroll into town) is just content to drink their margaritas and watch quietly.

Well it is true though. Outside of FSU, VT, and one other game(FL, BC, SY, just depends on who is good or who they are playing that year) the OB never rocks like it could. Like I said earlier in the thread, the teams going into the OB were afraid of the Canes themselves, not the atmosphere. Many things factor in such as school size, location of the OB, and lack of competition that comes in. I do expect to see the attendance increase with the move to the ACC.

I believe the only time they sold out this year was against florida and that place was rockin. It is a very loud stadium when people actually come. Especially because the stadium itself actually shakes cuz its so freaking old.

Even if duke was a powerhouse it would be hard for them to fill a 100,000 seat stadium.
