I would love to see an accelerated clock such as Madden has implemented into NCAA. It would allow us to play 15 minute quarters without the long waits we currently have.

At least in NCAA it is only :25. But I agree with you. The dead time is one of my biggest complaints with football video games. But then I get shouted down by the hardcore sim guys that like the realism of waiting there on the couch as the clock ticks down.

I know what you're saying. Here's my idea:

When the human has the ball: Press all 4 shoulder buttons and the clock goes...bllllnnnng....real super fast down to 5 seconds. Then you snap the ball with hardly any time left.

When the cpu has the ball still make the CPU do how it does now so if "heavy handed sim ppl" don't get offended...but also make it as a toggle from the menu you can turn on or off to make it so the cpu automatically does the blnnnnngg..and runs clock down to 5 seconds but also give you the option at any time to press all 4 shoulder buttons do to it manually if you like for the cpu.

Just my thoughts....
