I read in a magazine at Barnes and Nobles yesterday that you will be able to convert scholarship track stars into any kind of specialist on the field. I thought this only applied to the athletes coming out.

i heard you can recruit guys who play like rb, qb, and wr and choose which one you want them to play or lb, db and decide...i haven't heard of the track star thing but maybe...

I heard about it. You can recruit "athletes" like track stars and such and give them a position.

If I recruit any track guys they will play primarilly on defense. As all you guys know track guys don't always make great recievers. I'm sure the Hands rating will be pretty low for most of those guys.

ya db or return specialist sounds ok....maybe rb or qb...but the hands thing for a wr, we'll have to see how that is first

I think it will be in the scouting report. Just like the guy that's going to LSU Xavier Carter. He was one of the top receivers in the nation who also played defense. He is also a world class sprinter and may make the Olympic team. He would classify as an athlete with track star ability.

He will be a cornerback by default, but I can't wait to play with Ted Ginn on Ohio State. He is the best track athlete to come out of the Cleveland area since Jesse Owens. He might win 4 State Championships this weekend and was MVP of the Army All-American game.
