My god this game will be absolutely sick. Normally I don't post unless I really have something to say but this game sounds so ridiculous I couldn't help it. I don't know if I will leave the house for a month after this comes out.

Sorry for being negative, but I think it's really kind've funny to read how some of the same people who are always criticizing some of the "other" football games are getting all hot and bothered by an interview conducted by EA Sports. Wow, there's an objective interviewer for you.

I'll be excited about this game if they truly did get rid of the Mario Running, the Suction Blocking, and the 30 yard drop-back QB. Until I see that with my own two eyes in a video, I'll be holding off on the pre-order. Peace.

Well, considering EA is the only company producing a college football game this year, I hope you'll forgive our enthusiasm...

Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a preorder to place ...

Like everyone said, they addressed all of my main concerns. I would have been satisfied with NCAA 2004 with rotating conference schedules. But then they go and add homefield advantage and about 10 other goodies. Those EA guys are earning their paychecks this year. Can we get those people a raise?!

I hope "ice" the kicker effects the home team kicker as well as the road team kicker..

I don't know what it is....but I don't see myself utilizing the matchup stick against the cpu. Seems like cheating to me.

I agree 100%.

But, no problem. I just wont use it. They added plenty of other things that I will.

I think the matchup stick is just an improved tool that gets us the info we need easier. I dont know how you play but I will check the other teams depth and see where there weak spots are. For example if one side of their D-Line is lacking I will pound that side all day long. I dont think of this as cheating.

Previously to do this we had to go into the depth charts and such, I see the match up stick as an easier way to do this. Of course the composure ratings will be an added consideration.

I agree with that statement but I do think being able to hit a button and see which defender is not confident or having a down swing in ability points is a little unfair. I like that players ratings will be in flux during a game but shoudln't be able to see the other teams ratings while lining up at the line of scrimage. If they made that part of a time out or part of the quarter or halftime then that would be a fair part to the game.
