XBOX Live is not compatible with PS2 Online. Nor is the PS2 version of the game the exact same code base as the xbox version. Thus, I would say there is no way they could play against each other. There is talk in future gen of Xbox where there could be XBox vs. PC players.

I don't think what happen this year but I believe it can and will be done very near future!!

Hate to break it to you but not gonna happen. There's no way to get the PS2's to talk to the XBOX's on XBL.

If know anything computer networking you know it could be done. Again I doubt this year but in a few years I could see it!!

He stated it that way because the GC isn't online so he couldn't just say NCAA in general.

Why couldn't this be the big announcement from EA? You're not playing NCAA on XBL, if you read the article. You're playing it on EA's servers, you just get validated through XBL. So I think it's "possible." Still not very likely, but definitely possible.

Being that I am a network architect, I do know a little about networking. However in it's current form there is no way for the PS2 to authenitcate to the XBL network. Plus I believe it has it's own IP stack.

Some sort of software or interface would have to be written for the PS2.
